It is no secret that the internet dominates the majority of our lives. It has wrought huge changes – both positive and negative – and no one is safe from its captivating clutches. Not me, not you, not even the Pope – who recently got trolled by the entirety of the net when they engaged in a hilarious Photoshop battle.
Everyone is online these days, even my 90-year-old grandad dabbles in Google every once in a while. It gives power to the people and for the most part is the answer to all of our problems. But is the internet slowly destroying us as a consequence? By the looks of things it is definitely destroying art…

I said in my introduction that the internet is “ruining” works of art. But on the contrary, could it be considered that it is actually making something more of it? By helping to bring these masterpieces into the 21st century, is the net improving them as a consequence? No, of course they aren’t, but it is nice to put forward two sides to the argument.
